There are some fantastic spots in London where you can get great views of the city and skyline, as well as snap some breathtaking shots with your camera.

Across the river from the Houses of Parliament, on the southern bank of the Thames, stands the large Ferris wheel known as the London Eye. If you take a ride to the top you can see for up to 25 miles. It is a great way to get an overview of the city and a first glimpse of some of the famous London sights.

If you go up the famous Tower Bridge you'll enjoy great views of the eastern part of London, the nearby Tower of London and the city.

For unobstructed views of some of London's most famous sights you can also take a river cruise. Along the banks of the Thames are many London landmarks and it is relaxing to sit and watch the Tower, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s, the London Eye, the Parliament Buildings and Big Ben slowly pass by.

You must visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and go up to its dome, which affords one of the best views of Central London. It's simply an amazing feeling to stand inside the dome while gazing out over the city.

Admiring the sunset and views from Waterloo Bridge has inspired songs, poems and films. The bridge is situated on a bend of the Thames and gives you some of the best views from any spot at ground level in London.
